Mr. Toshihiro Tananka had visited ARDY
During August 8-9, 2002, Deputy representative of UNDP in China, Mr.Toshihiro Tanaka had visited ARDY.
At
first, Ms. Gao Xiangjun had reported to Mr. Toshihiro executive status
of SMAP(Sustainable Microfinance to Alleviate Poverty) supported by
UNDP,farmer member amount and loan amount of Microfinance, financial
management and the existing difficulties, then Mr.Toshihiro had given
a detailed examination to ARDY's account and operating records. After
fully comprehension of ARDY, Mr.Toshihiro had given a high to ARDY becuase
of its religious and hopeful operation, and considered that after the
business plan has been put in practice ARDY would be very hopeful to
realize sustainable poverty alleviation using Microfinance.
In
sequence, Mr.
Toshihiro, 
accompanied
by Ms. Gao, had visited the poorest families in Banqiao Village, Baoping
Township. And participated in center meeting in ARDY's Wupeng Branch,
exchanged with those farmer members, and understood the changes Microfinance
brought to them. From the excellent result in poverty alleviation, Mr.
Toshihiro had further borne in his mind ARDY's normative operation,
and implied that he would use UNDP's powerful influence to raise more
money to help ARDY and more poor people in underdeveloped areas.
